WALT: Structure a recount correctly

Hello, My name is Simon. Today our crazy weird teacher took us to a secret mission to be Soldiers. Has your teacher been crazy and weird?

First we did our first task , It was marching. It was really weird, like “left,right,left”. By the way, someone was enjoying it in the back. He was the captain apparently. We had to salute when he does it., his name was Moui. He was like acting with our teacher. He was really enjoying it “Yes sir Yes!”. It’s like we were in a actual movie called like “Training to Save the World”. Something like that, or maybe we were training for like a war?

Next we did our second task, We were being like spies. We were being sneaky silent ghost. Well, not really. I gave you a hint of our next task, but if you still don’t know. It’s being sneaky. When our teacher told us what to do. We did it, but it was really weird and to be honest we were like exploding fireworks. We were trying to be silent but we were like stomping like a Gorilla. We were basically walking like spiders like legs open arms forward and walking. It’s like we were hiding in a bush so no one notices us. I guess we are pretty useless at being Soldiers right? I also heard a tiny bit of giggling from all of us, like we're crazy witches.

The Third and final task was fitness. When our teacher revealed that we were gonna do fitness, we were like “uGHHH”. We all hate fitness cause it’s pretty tiring. At least it wasn’t like sprinting though. I’m like a turtle, a literal turtle. Maybe a slug actually. We were told to do 5 pushups. We were all bad at them but for some reason our teacher didn't wanna do it? I know, probably cause were professionals. I get it now. Next was sit ups, I am so bad at them to be honest. We were supposed to do 10, but I did like 3. The next one was super easy! Cause we were being like ballerinas. “Okay Ballerinas leg up and balance like beautiful people”. That’s what we did, Balancing. Our teacher was trying to push some of us but were professionals. That's the finale.


What a crazy thing right? Overall, it was fun and boring at the same time. It was really awesome though, we get to learn how to be soldiers, more like useless ones.

Task description

Mr. Goodwin made us a boring bland test document. We had to practice what it's like to do a writing test. Today our teacher turned into Army leader and we had to pass the trials. At the end, he turned back and did our work.
