Today for Te Reo, me and my group learnt how to say and reply to a Maori phrase. That Maori phrase was He aha te Taima. That means what time is it? After we learnt Maori words we don't know like haurua which means half past.
Today I finished of a Maori task. For this task, our question was "Ko wai o hoa", which means "Who are your friends". On slide 5 , 6 and 7, we had to write down the correct word, for example. There friends are Phoenix and Julia. So that means I have to do raua, since it's only 2 people. Then on the last slide I had to create a poster with a conversation between any amount of people using the words we learnt!
Today, Mrs. Tipene taught us how to ask people what's the weather today in Maori. Then she told us how to answer/reply to those lessons. We first had to learn what the words are for each weather. After we learned that, we then have to answer questions the slides and then lastly we had to create a poster showing a conversation between 2 people.
Task description. Today me and my rotations class is learning about how what colour is your hair in maori. We also learnt how to respond to those lines. On slide 5 and slide 6, we had to figure out what colour there hair was by just writing the colouring in. E.g - On slide six, the goofy looking girl, she has pink hair. And we know from slide two that pink is mawhero. So we had to replace the underline with mawhero.
