Myths and Legends Keys!

Task description.
Mrs. Tele'a told room 2 to do this task. This task was about the myths and legends we learnt at week 1. In week 1 we learnt 6 different myths. Since we know what the myths are, we had to put object under the flags. The objects are actually called keys. Those keys are related to something, for example. In our photo the diamond means that the myth had animals in it.
After we finished we have to post it on our blog.

Mrs. Ilaoa taught us about the Cambodian Myth of Lightning, Thunder and Rain. We learnt a lot of things about the myth. To give proof I know, I know that Ream Eyso got really jealous. But in this task we had to match the things for each goddess. For example, Moni Mekhala. The smartest and fastest got the crystal ball as the gift so we have to put the crystal ball in the gift column next to her name. After that we then had to describe what happened after they got there gifts.

The BFG! WLJ

It started of with Sophie asking the BFG what he was doing, "Every dream has a special label on it, how else am I supposed to find the one I'm wanting in a hurry?" the BFG replied. Sophie then asked another question, Sophie asked if the BFG could know which dream is which by just listening to it. The BFG replied with a simple, "I can!". Sophie was confused and asked the BFG how, and questioned if it's the way it buzzes, hums and all sorts of things. The BFG replied back with "You is less or more right, every dream in the world is making a different sort of buzzy hum music and this grand swash bubbly ears of mine is able to read out music.
(And then there's more! http://youtube.com/watch?v=zkre6Mh6MoE)

The BFG has a long neck, and a very sharp and point nose. He had magnificent gray hair like a grandma's hair. His eyebrows are as thick as a box. He's also wears very shrek-like clothes, like it's from a village!

Task description.

/At 11 weeks old/, Daisy joined/ the school/ two weeks ago/ to be trained/ as a /therapy dog/, and as /students enter/ Te Ao Mārama /primary school/ in Flagstaff/ each morning,/ they are greeted/ by a small furry spoodle Daisy/, the latest /member of the /school's staff./

Deputy headmaster/ Anna Pratt/ — and Daisy's owner/ — said she /became interested/ in the growing phenomenon /of therapy dogs/ being used /in schools /around the world./

"It is /really popular/ in America,/ and also /in Australia,"/ Ms Pratt said./ "There were/ a lot of /things we considered/, such as/ the breed/, the size,/ the type of coat/ — Daisy has/ a wool coat/ so she doesn't/ trigger any allergies/. She has/ been at school/ now for a/ couple of weeks,/ and she has been/ growing in /confidence and/ the students/ have been /getting more/ confident around/ her as well."/

Daisy,/ who is/ a half poodle/ and half spaniel/, is identified/ by the /fluoro orange jacket/ that has been /specially made for her,/ to show/ that she is a/ dog in training,/ and to /also make her/ stand out/ when at school events./

Ms Pratt /said that /having a /therapy dog /as young as Daisy/ also helps /with dog education/, and the responsibility/ that comes/ with owning a dog./

"I was astounded/ as to /how many kids/ here had /never touched a dog,/ or even seen a dog./"
"So many kids/ come up/ saying I'm really/ scared of dogs,/ but I really want/ to pat her/ and now /those kids /are some/ of the ones /who come up/ first to greet Daisy./"

Daisy's routine includes/ heading to road patrol in the morning and roaming through the learning areas of the school or teaching spaces./

"Children will/ read to her /or draw pictures/ for her in class,/ and then after /that she will/ eat and sleep/ for a bit."/

"In research/ it shows/ that patting a dog/ releases the /feel-good hormones/ and it just helps/ settles the kids,/ and they /don't become distracted."
