They first wanted to bury them in the sand but they got dug up by wild animals and got stolen by thieves. The pyramids were created so the dead people's valuables they wore wouldn’t get stolen since they believe that they should wear them when dead. | The Red Pyramid, believed to be the first pyramid Pharaoh | Kufu, created the great pyramid giza by himself. Took 10 - 20 years to build. (2.3 million blocks of stone) Tallest man-made structure for over 4000 years. Kufu created some more pyramids from his wives to be buried in. Two more temples for the honour of his death. Built 4500 years ago. |
