Decimal Delight!

Directions: On each line below, shade in the boxes containing digits with the indicated place values. (Please note that the decimal point is not in the same position in each numeral).
You will end up with the name of something you always have with you!

Task description.
The four student teachers created an activity based on place value. In this task, we had to try and figure out the secret word. We had to colour in the value it tells us to colour in. E.g, if it says tenths, we have to colour in the tenths column. After we were done, we have to post it on our blog.

  1. Kia ora Simon!
I can see that you understood how to read the place value of each number - thousands, hundreds, tens, ones, tenths, hundredths and thousandths - and then figure out which boxes to colour/shade and which ones to leave blank. Well done Simon!
