How do you be a good son/daughter? Well there's numerous reasons on how you can be a good and respectful son/daughter, I’m going to state a few reasons on how to BE one, or maybe even BECOME one.
The first thing you can do to be a good son/daughter is to be respectful. You can do this by having good manners, listening to them, etc. I personally would listen to them more often, even if it gets quite annoying ( Trust me I’ve been there ) .
This is one of the reasons on how you can be a good son/daughter, by having respect.
Carrying on to “having respect” paragraph. They might ask you to do the most SIMPLE things in the world. E.g - Getting the TV remote when it’s literally right next to them. You still have to do it, even if you’re in a really important meeting, prioritise your parents first. Like even if it takes the whole meeting to go do the laundry, it doesn't matter because you would have to respect them since they spend their money on you.
Anywhere, Anytime, prioritise your parents first.
Why shouldn’t your parents ask you to do things? Well, this is because you should be already doing it in the first place. They should have never asked you to do it in the first place. If you do the chores before they even ask you it could mean a LOT to your parents since they’ll have more free time instead of doing chores.
Don’t let them ask you, just do it without reminders !
To sum up everything that I’ve stated, you can do the most SIMPLE things to be a good son/daughter. This is just a reminder to take care of your parents and be respectful to them.
