Alien Addition

Walt: use our basic facts knowledge to try out new strategies.

Here is the task

Task description.
Mr. Goodwin made us do a figure out task. I decided to work with Bradley. I worked with him because hes really good at maths and I just wanted to learn from him.
We did the Alien Addition one because were not good at fractions and the first one had fractions. We still had trouble with this one though.
It was hard to do these questions, like add all the numbers of the aliens together.
That's it.

Rocky Shore Writing

Walt: we are learning to write a report.

The rocky shore is an intertidal habitat that's around the coast of New zealand.
It has many different zones, including the intertidal one.
The rocky shores are biologically rich environments and also are a useful natural laboratory for studying.

I learned that the Supratidal zone is directly above the high tide mark. It apparently only gets covered by water by storms or king tides. But it apparently can be moistened by sprays of the breaking waves, which is known for the splash zone.
Plants and animals actually live in this zone, are exposed
To varying temperatures from high from the sun causing to dry out.
To cold temperatures from the tide.

I found out that the Intertidal/ Littoral zone is the sea bed between the highest and lowest limits of the tide. The Intertidal zone requires plants and animals so it could adjust to extreme changes.
I also found out that at times they are completely submerged in cold salt water and faces of heat from the hot sun.
The Intertidal zone is divided into 3 zones.
The high tide zone, middle tide zone and low tide zone.
This zone also contains tidal pools. Pools with rocks that maintain water throughout the cycles.

Subtidal/ Sublittoral zone is the area directly below the Intertidal zone. Its beneath the low tide mark.
I learnt that its permanently covered in water. And this is zone is much more stable then the Intertidal zone.

The rocky shore is an area on the coast of New zealand. And it’s an intertidal habitat. The rocky shore has many different zones, Intertidal zone, Subtidal zone and the Supratidal zone. The rocky shore is an interesting place to study, there's so much different things to learn! Like the zones, animals and more!

Task description.
Mr. Goodwin made us do report writing for the first ever time. We had to write about the rocky shore.
We mostly just wrote about the zones.

Task Description.
Today and yesterday I was working on this task. It's basically like labelling the rocky shore. And I drew because we had to free to use images and if you write JPG with the thing you want. It still has a white background.
